What is Squad Busters
Okay, enough partying, now let’s get into the details because Squad Busters is coming back with tons of new content. SQUAD BUSTERS Ever wonder what your favorite Supercell characters look like as babies? Well, wonder no more because now all Characters start in a cute Baby form, getting new Abilities as they Evolve.
Every Character will go through Baby, Classic and Super, with even more exciting forms introduced later on. To Evolve your Characters, you need to collect duplicates and merge them. Every match you play gives you a Chest with Characters, no matter your finishing position. The better you do in the match, the more your Chest upgrades.
This translates into higher chances to get more and higher rarity Characters. Every time you Evolve a Character, you earn Portal Energy, which you need to level up your Squad Journey and unlock new Worlds. Each World comes with a new theme, new Characters, bosses, and Mods. Let me introduce you to MEGA Units.
Remember Fusions? Those big Characters you get in the match by combining three of the same ones. Now, on top of the Fusions, we’ve got even bigger Characters called MEGA Units. Megas are special versions of existing units with unique visual twists. They are significantly stronger but are rare to find during a match.
Getting a MEGA Unit could be the lucky break you need if you find yourself behind. MEGA Units are part of a line of consumables that you can collect as Rewards, purchase from the Shop, stock up, and use in Battle. The more MEGAs you have in your collection, the more frequently you encounter the opportunities to pull them out of the Chests.
El Tigre and the Dragon Chicken will be the first available MEGAs, and we will release new ones regularly. MEGA Units can also be found in the new Gem Pass. Now, the Gems you collect during a match are not just the key to winning, they also help you progress in the Gem Pass, where you will find many Rewards.
Now put on your favorite sunglasses because we are heading to the Beach. The newest World in Squad Busters is inspired by Boom Beach, and it brings a new environment, four new Modifiers, lots of fun Monsters, and three new Characters. Penny the Pirate is all set to uncover hidden treasures in the sun with her Special Ability.
Heavy is an offensive backbone to any Squad, with ramping damage and an Ability to heal himself. And lastly, Tank, who lives up to her name by taking control of Tanks found on the Map, providing great defence and firepower to your Squad. Beach World will be added at the end of the Squad Journey. This means you will need to progress through Green, Desert, and Royal World before getting to experience the new addition.
Once you complete all the available Worlds, you will reach the Squad League, where you can play for Trophies until a new World comes. And last but not least, now you can Party up and play with your friends. Now let’s get into the Global launch details. The game will be available on Android and iOS starting on May 29th in all countries.
